before things get too manic!!!

Quick blog update before things hopefully get manic round here - seeing midwife at 2pm tomorrow and hoping she'll work her magic and kick start labour :):) Ben is still spotty - well in himself and sleeping at last but not keen to go to playgroup or do much other than watch TV - did manage to get him to do some painting today but he is still saying 'be careful with me cos I'm poorly' - sweet!!

Thomas made me a very proud Mummy by being presented with a certificate during Housepoint Assembly - for 'great attitude to all he does' Sophie was very proud of him and I think even he realised what a big thing it was :)
Sophie went to her idea of a dream party on Sunday - 10 girls at a pamper parlour - she had a foot spa - nails painted, hair done and makeup followed by a chocolate fountain - heaven !!

The tiny caterpillars that arrived a few weeks ago grew HUGE and finally appeared from their chrysalis as beautiful butterflies - we kept them for a few days to watch them and then enjoyed releasing them in the garden - have seen a painted lady butterfly in the garden this morning - wonder if it is one of ours??

Perfectly Pink!!

We had a very pink day today celebrating Sophie's birthday - she was well enough to go back to school to share a bag of lollipops then came home to presents, birthday tea and My Little Pony cake (shop bought again cos I just dont have the enrgy!) Thankfully Buttercup has so far decided not to share her sister's birthday - tomorrow would be fine though if you are listening!

Tom loves his new top - it has already been worn washed and back in the wardrobe a few times and is definitely a hit :)
Sophie decided not to have her haircut with us this time - she wants to grow out her fringe so is alternating between wearing it clipped back or falling right over her face or a cross between the two - I am looking forward to it being long enough to tuck behind her ears :)

Bump is getting enormous yet I can still reach to paint my toenails so cant be too bad - doc at the hospital last week was certainly happy that it is an average sized baby thank goodness. Had great fun doing a couple of seminaked arty photoshoots - not ready to share those yet though lol :)
